How to export data in Outlook

For Outlook 2000

  1. On the File menu, click Import and Export . If the menu item is not available, hover your pointer over the down arrows at the bottom of the menu and then click Import and Export.
  2. Click Export to a file, and then click Next.
  3. Select Personal Folder file (.pst), and then click Next.
  4. Select the folder you wish to export, and then click Next.
  5. In Save exported file as type the name of the file to which you wish the data to be exported.
  6. Click Finish.

For Outlook 2002/2003/2007

  1. On the File menu, click Import and Export. If the menu item is not available, hover your pointer over the down arrows at the bottom of the menu, and then click Import and Export.
  2. Click Export to a file, and then click Next.
  3. Select Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
  4. Select the folder you wish to export, and then click Next.
  5. Choose file name you wish the data to be exported.
  6. Click Finish.

For Outlook 2010

  1. On the File ribbon tab, click Open, click Import.
  2. Click Export to a file, and then click Next.
  3. Select Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
  4. Select the folder you wish to export, and then click Next.
  5. Choose file name you wish the data to be exported.
  6. Click Finish.
